The
seaside community of Baosici is approximately 8 km from the vibrant
holiday town of Herceg Novi and 30km from the UNESCO heritage town
of Kotor.
Baosici, famous for its Mimosa flower festival in February, is fast
becoming a popular destination with Western homebuyers and holiday
makers.
The seafront road, closed to motor traffic in the summer, winds past
many small marinas, cafes and restaurants.
Baosici Village is 100m from the seafront, which can be accessed by
a pedestrian footpath leading directly from the East side of the
complex.
Opposite Baosici, on the other side of the Bay, is the unspoilt
peninsula of Lustica. Once home to pirates and smugglers, today Lustica is large swath of pristine Mediterranean countryside, the
sea line dotted with undeveloped bays and coves.
